DTV is the over air broadcast of local television, HDTV is the actual hardware would be the way I look at it. I don't pay for cable TV or satellite TV, but have the DTV converter for my analog TV to display Digital TV broadcasts. Free except for the converter box, which has a $40 coupon from the FCC to help with buying. Since the first analog shutoff test earlier this week, finding the converters is nearly impossible. Most converters are in the $49 - $69 range and with the coupon are now $10 - $30 . Just looking to see who will use the converter, how they like them, or will you just go out and buy a new HDTV with a digital tuner...
later, Tom.
