Riding with a passenger and luggage, you might want to limit your cruising speed to 160KPH, but You shouldn't have any mechanical worries. These bikes are built like tractors. It would be a good idea for the sake of your passenger to consider one of the many touring style seats available if you plan to use the bike for extended holiday riding. The front seat is just fine but (I am told) the pillion tends to seem a bit harsh after 4 hours or so.
