This is a pic of my dog, unfortunately the "Doggles" are not just there for him to look cool why walking on the beach he has a problem with his eyes a gean I believe, which only German Shepherd's get. I think he's classed as "Heinz 57", but a great dog, lovely natured.

We rescued him from the pound, apparently he had been left in flats that were due to be demolished, with nothing but flies to eat, hence why he goes mad and chases them round the house..

Fine looking beast there Ray, thank you from a dog lover for adopting him. My last two dogs came from the Anti-cruel ty Society and could not have been greater dogs. Still don't get people buying dogs when such fine beasts are out there in the thousands waiting to be the perfect companion.

That being said, meet Memphis, my new dog-son. Another rescue and well on his way to being a great hound!

This is Hank. Nicest, friendliest dog that you'll ever meet...he'll also eat you out of house and home if you don't keep the food out of reach.

Animals know that they have been rescued. The best dogs and cats come from rescue societies!

Agreed. They seem to know. We've adopted 3 fantastic dogs over the past 25+ years. Each has become like family (better actually).

What a great looking guy. You know Ray the next step, since he already has the doogles, is going to Rallys with you.

Even thought about getting a side car, or even a trike, i'm sure he would love it.

Seems you'll be needing a sidecar Ray. Next time you'll be able to bring, the dog and the BBQ

forgot to say that Tasha came to us one cold Jauary night. We tried to find her owner, but alas, we adopted her. Mutts make the best companions.

Here she is back in March 2001 about 6 weeks after we adopted her.

Cute little blighter!!

We had got ours and took him straight off the lead, he knew who his owners were straight away. We had him around two weeks when he jumped off a bridge (He saw me and the mrs underneath) he had wondered up there with another dog.

He broke his right front leg and fractured both his back legs as he landed on stone. So we got a nice bill straight away for well over £500.00 from the nearest vet. Something had told the mrs to insure him, I don't know what but they paid out except for the first £100.00..

Animals eh, He will not leave the mrs alone and has to sleep under her side of the bed and he even wakes her up to go out for his walk at 6 am every morning. Mind I have heard her say to him, just 5 more minutes and he lies down beside the bed.. would not part with him for the world..

We've rescued 3 weimers over the past 4 years. It's sad to see them in such poor shape at their arrival, but it almost harder to let them go to there new family after you nurse them back to health... we've kept 2 + 1 chihuahua.

Help out the pound or the rescue folks if your gonna get a pet.
