Reminds me of the time a twice removed niece in law, a bit on the how should I say this, obese side, who just couldn't ask for things. Well Bambi, yes that is her name, took it upon herself to go into the F.I.L.'s fridge and swig using her pursed lips, from a 2 liter bottle of red soda pop. Yup, we busted her because of the tell tale red micro dots all over the garage floor and car. Swine. At least she could have spit it out in the sink. Serves her right. (It was humming bird nectar made from red food colouring and sugar.)

Hey, I love Humming Birds. Fasinating little things. We always have feeders out for them. Well, the wife does, not me. I prefer my 'more manly' pet squirrel.

Which, btw, i am very concerned about. I have not seen him for a few days. I bet there's a 'Miss Squirrel' involved.

If that squirel was anywhere near my apartments, my cat probably would out chasing it right now and it may end up as dinner.

That picture was taken 6 weeks or so ago. He has grown conciderably since then. My cat tried it on with him one night. It did not last long, one swipe of the squirrels claws had the cat running for cover. I let him loose in my back garden two weeks ago. I built him a house in one my trees, and put food out for most nights. Most nights if i stand under the tree and call him he will run down and jump on my shoulder. But i have not seen him for a few days now, so i think he has moved down a few houses and joined all the other squirrels.

Whe enjoy watching the Red Tail Hawks swooping down and snatching those squirels off the front lawn. Impressive to say the least.

Now that would be something to see. Not that i would want that to happen to my squirrel or any squirrel for that matter.

Wild nature is incredible, i hate to see animals attacking other animals, but nature is what it is. I just wish we could all learn to get along, animals as well

The other morning, about 5:15, I was drinking a cup of coffee on the back patio. A flash caught the corner of my eye, a white rabbit bounced from somewhere to someplace else. Either Jefferson Airplane was touring again or somebody's pet escaped. Still sorting that one out

I have a hummingbird feeder also, it was a gift, no really, I mean it, really.

Yeah, if you can get the cats, dogs, owls and hawks to become vegetarians.

My Husky kills everything she can catch except people and other dogs. I once saw her kill and strip a rabbit to the bones in less than 5 minutes while all the time keeping the Chow mix away.

Just think how deep we'd be in rabbits and squirrels if nothing ate them.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Back when I was a young lad we were left out in the boonies of NW Florida for several days as part of our Navy survival training. After a few days of lots of walking and no eating we were up for anything. Rabbits, squirrels, snakes and a very tough old coon were on the menu. We killed them all with our trusty survival knives and handmade 6 foot long shillelagh's. I wish someone had caught us on tape. Eight or ten 20 something city boys trying to kill a mean nasty old coon in waist deep water by beating him to death with large sticks. I’m sure it would have won a funniest home video award. And no, it tasted nothing like chicken. More like boiled boot. The instructor kept the tooth pick.

Hedgehog's quite nice, bake 'em in clay. Spines come off when you remove the clay...

I dont know about a funny video award...more likly now to get you all locked up on an animal cruelty charge...you are probly lucky it was not taped.Tapes could resurface durring your campange youd lose the PETA vote.
