A friend of mine in Kansas had me take some pics of a Mini here in Dallas a lady was selling... easier than a trade in on the special order new Mini she was getting..
Way cool car, said she got about 29 mph around town (DFW Metro****) over 35+ on frequent trips to Houston.
She took me for a test ride, stick, not the S, good acceleration, cornering... she drove it like a sports car.
Um.... she actually drove it like she was on a racetrack...
We're running on one of the in town Dallas freeways, I thot she was going around 60. Then she apologized cause she "couldn't open her up"... we were actually doing 82!
Mark came down from Ks, and bought it. He's pleased as punch about it. Told me to take it for a test drive, but only if I was in the market for a new car. <G>
