Wouldn't put to much stock in what the Top Gear presenters have to say about cars. Cars with 500hp or more are concidered great cars, anything with less than that is sneered at.

PS, love Top Gear, i recored every episode. It is the by far the funnist car show on tv. This sunday on BBC America they are having a Top Gear marathon, which includes the road trip accross Florida, Alabama and Louisana, very funny episode where they nearly got killed by some alabamans, and also they will be showing the road trip across Africa. Both episodes are well worth watching.
