Another mini house here.... wife's car actually. She does a 70 mile round trip commute everyday and depending on traffic she's anywhere between 32 and 40 mpg. Great little fun car, basically a go-kart you can go to the grocery store in. Not the turbo version but it is a stick and after having drove it I would see no reason to throw the extra coin down for a turbo unless you like/need/want some of the other goodies that come with that package.

About my only complaint I would have with the vehicle is that if ya got big hoofs having all three of those pedals in that close a proximity is a bit of a problem. She did have some service work done on it that required a loaner. Brought home an automatic, paddle shifters on the wheel even and to me was way more enjoyable a ride. I don't think an automatic took one thing away from it in the performance factor other than you might lose a slight bit on the overall mpg.
