Let us be fair all yee naysayers. Many moons ago the Schlitz family sold their brewery and the new owners promptly went and changed the original recipe, hence they went bankrupt in very short order. Now the original Schlitz relatives have bought the company and name back and are using the original recipe that once made it the most popular brew in America. Or so I read on my homebrew sites. makes good sense to me, I'll give it a try.
Well Pat, I gotta admit that this very same tactic DID WORK for Willie G. Davidson when he bought back his old family's concern from AMF a few years back. Yep! I gotta admit that his product has become quite successful again, alright!!!
BUT...you still see ME ridin' a TRIUMPH motorcycle DON'T CHA, dude??? And so, I gotta say that I'm STILL NOT all that impressed EVEN WITH this additional bit o' news o' yours about the Schlitz family's reacquisition here, dude!!!
(in other words, there's STILL NO ACCOUNTIN' for TASTE when it comes to the good ol' "American Buyin' Public", ya know!...yep...I gotta agree with ya THERE alright, ol' buddy!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
