Cheapest beer I've had was Olympia. While stationed at Cape Canaveral, a buddy and I during lunch would go over to the Coast Guard Station where they had Olympia for 30 cents a can. We would buy 3 cans and leave a 10 cents tip. Then we would head over to the port to watch the cruise ships go in/out, eat lunch and drink each a beer and split the third.
Worst beer is Carlsberg. Forced that stuff past my tounge in Hong Kong. Unfortunately it was the only beer sold at the landing and I'd been at the bottom of the ocean for over a month. YEP, a sailor will drink darn near anything.
