All: I know British Customs has a replacement ignition box for the bonne T100 that will allow rev up to 8400RPMs. Does anyone know whether there is one made for our bikes to break the 5500 RPM mark?

None exists for the 270º motors. 5500 mark? mine hits the rev limiter around 7750
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.

Unless something has changed in the last 6 mos., there is not an aftermarket box for our bikes. If you are only turning 5500 RPM max, there may be something wrong. You should be getting better than 7500. There has been a lot of discussion on this site already about the ignition system. Do a search and see what you come up with. Searching the internet on that topic acually drew me to this site. Chech the archives too. That topic has been discussed for years. Have a great one!

Dinqua and Dr. PC:
Thanks! I've never really pushed the bike past 5500 RPM's. I always thought it had a rev limiter on it set to there and always thought "why top it out?". After 10,000 miles and I lot more confidence, I'm starting to want to extend my boundaries. Its good to know I don't have to do any aftermarket work. Thanks for setting me staight!

Some of us do and use the rev limiter as a shift light.
Kind of like using your home's smoke detector as an oven timer.

We keep contacting Procom to make one for our bikes, but at the moment they say no. I think they only supply the Bonneville & Thruxton. You can checkout the Website "HERE"

Its too bad they don't. I need to replace mine, I think, and $200 is better than $600.
