I always wear a helmet and jacket, even in the Mojave's 110 degrees. Like most of the posters here, I respect other guys' decision not to wear helmets, but I sure doubt their intelligence. It always comes down to the worn-out maxim that "It ain't you that's gonna make the mistake, it's the other cagers on the road that will." I don't care how cool I look because I am my own status symbol, yeah BABY!!!
