720p vs. 1080p...kind of a price thing, but I've also seen both in homes with real feeds and can't tell much difference except for blu-ray or games. Don't have blu-ray, don't do games (except the kids' Wii) and there isn't much in the way of 1080p HDTV broadcasts right now. Actually took the dive on the Panasonic last night. Found one for $1080. Too good a deal to pass up.
