I'm looking for chrome side covers to replace all the grey metal ones on my 04 America. I know I can get the chrome cam covers from newbonneville. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks....

you have an America without chrome covers?04 came stock with chrome, you can buy them from Triumph, they are stock or have yours chromed. Might be cheaper to have them chromed. I would buy the cam cover from Triumph too, then you would be sure to get the right cover and get it in a timely fashion.

Oh I thought you meant all the covers including the primary and timing cover. I have heard of guys putting the T-100 covers on that are not chromed. Not sure what models it was but I know there were brushed aluminum finished cases on one of them. Thought maybe you had one that had been done to. Watch Ebay , chrome sprocket covers pop up once in a while as well as maybe place a WTB in the classifieds here. I also saw a chrome cam cover in the classifieds here not long ago, don't know if it is still available or not.

I got some parts chromed myself, others I bought from triumph. The ones from triumph don't match the others,The ones I got done are much brighter and I don't have a bunch of spear parts laying around, but I guess someone around here could use them.

I was thinking about getting the peg hangers and sprocket cover done but wonder about quality. I'd rather use what I have as I'd have no use for them otherwise. Do you have any pictures of the ones you had chromed?

Go to the prospective chroming place and look at some of their finished work. Ask them if they triple-chrome which is the process of plating copper, nickel, and chrome onto a part— hence triple. Ask em if they use bright nickel too. In Florida I can get stuff done the right way for less than the oem chromed part. Deon would know way more than I about such thangs. You can get a sunburn standing too close to his motorsickle.
