Anyone have a link to a picture of an America that has been lowered, only on the back ... I am thinking about getting those 1 inch shorter shocks ...

If you lower just the back and not the front, you will be messing witht eh geometry of the bike and make it very unstable and possibly dangerous. Be careful!
Jaymo54 has some pix of his lowered bike in his gallery too.

Here is a picture of my bike. I installed the Hagon 1" shorter shocks,a 15"x5.5" custom spoked wheel and a low profile Dunlop 190 rear tire. It handles like a dream through the turns and I feel the road like I am part of it and not like I'm riding on a cushion. Total drop is around 2-3 inches.
