Too hung over and weather too bad for me to leave the house today.

Watched a pretty good show on the History Channel's "Gangland" series. Centered on the Mongols MC.
About their war's with the HA and the so called Mexican Mafia. Thought it was worth mentioning.

There was a really good documentary on a couple of weeks ago on satellite tv in the UK on the crime channel about an ATF officer who infiltrated a Mongol chapter in California.

The guy must either have had testicles the size of coconuts or just been tired of living at the time because he was in really deep water.

Amazingly he ended up getting patched and had access to the records of the Mongols nationwide criminal dealings.

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

Awesome weather here. Just finished removing a sumac stump. Set the remnants on fire with the neighbors propane "jet engine" torch.

Thye mentioned that in this show...It seems one of the reason the ATF guy was able to get in, was at the time. The Mongals where at war with the HA. They (the Mongols) needed more "troops" so thye relaxed their membership rules and went on a recruiting drive. Turned out to be a bad move. The agent was able to get enough dirt on them to get 48 arrested.

The HA where also "infitraited" once, an FBI agent was able to get in.One of the tricks he used was. Once he was accepted as a "Prospect" he showed up at a meeting with a bloody (by that I mean blood covered) Mongol vest.Said he killed the guy and burried him in the desert.

The book is "Under and Alone," by Billy Queen. It's a good read. Crazy stuff.
