Ray, did you fit the cush drive yourself? I dont fancy paying £50 an hour for labour at the local dealer.

Hi Guys,Triumph Australia very reluctant to change my cush drive under warranty, they say its wear and tear item even though the problem has been there since new..Dealer and I tried new cush drive rubbers and still had nearly 1/4 inch freeplay,,,,We then tried a used thunderbird rubber which fitted and left me with approx 1/16 inch freeplay so we did a swap and going to see how it goes, havent taken for a ride yet...(same cush drive rubber is used on all the early trumps, speed triples, sprints, tbirds with 885 engine)I,m fortunate in that i have great relationship with the dealer and all his staff, helps heaps when i have a problem, they are great...keep yas posted after i,ve taken bozo for a run, cheers, Tadpole

Russ, you won't look back for all the reasons why. You'll see
Staintune Pipes, K&N Pods, 45 pilots, TBS needles and 145 mains.

Yes, it's only a half hour job and can be done on your own. A little fiddly as those back wheels weigh a bomb..

Your not wrong, just replaced the cush drive and rear brake pads, less than half an hour start to finish.

How much were the cush drives? I called today and ordered them and they quoted me $77.00. Does that sound right? I remember replacing them in a Yamaha that I used to have and they were a couple bucks each. Let me know what you have paid. Thanks
