All I know is that I have to follow certain rules (no matter what state or country I'm in) that say I have to wear certain gear: DOT helmet, long sleeves, long pants, boots, gloves, and something reflective - if I get squished by a semi and I have failed to put any of those things on, I just cost my kids $400,000. So I'm pretty much ATGATT.
But I'm for people deciding their own level of risk acceptance.
