I did notice on my trip to CT that there was terrible noise with my old 1/2 helmet. The real deal from the 60's. It came with a bike my grandfather bought. It has the leather ear flaps that connect to the chin strap. The wind whipping through there was LOUD! I didn't remember that or even notice it before.And I always thought my hearing loss was from loud pipes, working around machinery, and loud music.
