To me they both looked really goofy...theres something about our frames where they attach to the shock. The frame lips upward to hold the stock seat...so when they mounted the fender it went under it and kept a gap. Its not a hardtail frame we're talking about here, that slopes down and puts the seat on the fender because it doesnt have to move up and down.

Of course if he used the struts and made it a hardtail he'd be able to somehow mate the rear fender and seat decently. Those struts cant be good for the rear of the bike. The swingarm and associated parts are meant to flex there. Stiffing them up puts stress on other parts. of course depending on how much HUGE bumps you hit and the riders weight.
