But 2 bikes is the minumum. After all, there are times when one of them might be down waiting on parts, so having another bike in the stable at least gives you something to ride. My personal ideal quota though is 5 bikes....a cruiser, a touring bike, a canyon carver, something for the dirt, and a vintage bike. I keep telling my wife I'm on the 5 year plan; buy a bike every 5 years. So far I'm 2 down and 3 to go.
