I did the mod with the pipes on the bike. All I did was use the biggest drill bit I had (3/4"), and I drilled out the tube. Then I used a 1 3/4 hole saw, and I cut out the baffle. Real simple.
Thats for the end baffle. I haven't done the next one yet.
