Well, I have to appologize to my beautiful wife (Sonya) for the way that I have been mentioning her on these forums. ( as my wife, or the wife etc etc etc ) So from now on out, any reference to her will be by her first name, Sonya. Love you dear!! And thank u for buying me my own bike!!!

Okay Sonya. You can give those keys to the Triumph back to Mark now.

(we think he's learned his lesson)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Methinks there is another lesson here ...

Rule 1 - We should never let our wives (for those who have one ... I don't) know which forums we regularly visit ...

and

Rule 2 - Never forget Rule nr 1!

See what happens if you don't follow the basic rules.

Please Sonya, give him the bike's keys.

This is going to cause confusion...around here when a man mentions a womans name, he's usually talkin about his bike.

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced While you're living beyond all your means And the man in the suit has just bought a new car From the profit he's made on your dreams

Believe me, I have no issue with her knowing about this site! It is great having a wife that is interested in the same things that I am. Such as bikes. Sonya has her own 06 America, and if it wasnt for her, I would not have just picked up an 03 Speedmaster. ( both in black ) Now we have our own bikes to customize just the way that we want them.

You guys are horrible and must be jealous Nothing wrong with having a spouse that loves to ride the same bike as yourself. He could have posted the apology out gratitude for her introducing him to Triumphs. (Or maybe it's because they are newly married ) Anyway, anytime there are two or more Triumphs parked in the same garage, it must be bliss.

Yeah, I must be jealous. My girlfriend is deathly afraid of motorcycles. What did I do to deserve that?

Thanks for all the entertaining comments guys, and ladies. Actually Amy, I introduced Sonya to the world of Triumphs. I have had several and she had a Harley when we met. Well I sold mine before the company had a layoff ( had a R3 and Speed Triple ) and she sold the Harley and bought the America. Well, lets just say for the last 14 months she became intimate with the back seat on the bike and now we have 2 in the Garage so that she can ride her own again. Oh, and to respond to the married comment. We have been married for almost 2 years. I have to say, 100% better than the first marriage I went through. We both like the same things!!! Bikes especially.

Well, let's think about this for a second here, John.

I'VE GOT IT! MAYBE in a previous life you were...Mussolini!!!

No! Wait a minute! If THAT were the case you'd probably be a snail or somethin' like that this time around, huh?!

Okay. Well WHATEVER you did couldn't have been all that bad now, could it?!

(I mean, AT LEAST you HAVE a girlfriend who'll put up with you in THIS LIFETIME anyway...RIGHT?!)

Amen to that, Bedouin! Rule #3 Just get rid of the wife and get another bike.

I think it was SO heroic and chivalrous of you to keep yer bride cloaked in anonymity and not reveal such personal things like her name . Lots of WIERD folks out there , ya know .

Hey , I'm tryin' to save your virtue here , DUDE !
