I rode the Daytona to work for the first time yesterday, and had a few appointments in town. It wasn't too hot, low 90's yesterday, but I absolutely roasted on that bike in town. I guess it's a combination of the fairing and maybe it's just a warmer motor...it will probably be a nicer ride in the winter. I really stunk by the end of the day, and felt like I had worked out too. Speedmaster is an easier bike in town, but I can't wait to get the Daytona on some twisty mountain roads. It hauls a** when you have a little room to open it up!
Oh, and my daughter informed me that the yellow power ranger is a girl?? After watching the Transformers movie, my kids are calling the bike Bumblebee...I don't usually name bikes, but I kind of like that.
