Try to travel at least 10 mph over the speed limit. Most people around here to that. I try to do 10-15 that way if somone comes up on me out of nowhere I know I have a class A jerk. And I do the gradual slow down thing.



Also remember that actual speed is very likely about 10% lower than the speedometer indicates.



I know for a fact my speedo is 5 mph slow when riding over 30 mph.
For a while I was getting every jack hole is Seattle on my rear...then I figured out I was driving under the speed limit.
Its gotten better now with the exception of that guy thats always in a hurry to go nowhere. I let him pass so I can try and stay calm and alert.
