I was starting to get frustrated until I went back and looked at the package again - turns out I'd purchases #6240 - the "Universal ISO Grip" rather than #6236 which has the built-in throttle sleeve. That'll teach me to go somewhere other than newspeedmaster.com to buy my stuff!
