Good tip. I'd also ditch the glue they send and put them on with hairspray. Much easier to remove later.
Speaking of which, when I removed mine for new handlebars it was necessary to use some cleaner to get the glue off. I got some on the rubber grip part. Is that rubber section replaceable thru Kuryakyn? The sun is beating up the areas where I had remover.

Remember to install the throttle side first. Then, when installing the clutch side it'll be easier lining up the grips so that they match.
