Sunday, June 08....Well, frog is still on the jack...I did get the cylinder head on with the new head gasket (yes, it's installed and torqued per the manual)...I got to working on her at 0630 this morning, trying to get the shimming right (still)...My neighbor showed up this afternoon, and Im not gonna say what I was doing wrong..I am soooooo embarrassed. I got to "sanding" the shims, using a digital micrometer, which ruined all of them, and turns out, I was using the wrong scale on the feeler gauges...Which he reluctantly pointed out...What a DUMBA$$$...Gotta have 8 new shims,,,Get ready Chy...Putting rest of components onto engine....
