Anybody hitting this? I just might.....

For the gritty, asphalt shredding, curb jumping, kick in the teeth, café racing, old & classic, pavement pounding, chopped up, bobbed out, home-built, speed addicted, greasy & grimey but oh so beautiful hardcore death trap motorsickes — leave the overpriced garage ornaments at home.

So what’s this “Greasebag” thing about?
It seems that Laconia Bike Week has become lost in a sea of T-shirt and leather chap vendors. The Greasebag Jamoboree is about bringing back a bit of the old time greasy character back to Laconia.

It used to be that building and fixing your motorcycle were crucial skills when it came to owning and riding bikes. It was more about what you could build and fix with your two hands and the help of your friends versus what you could afford to buy out of the million dollar catalog. The swap meet is a bit of a throwback - its not about a fancy store or catalog, and while you will find some new and shiny parts there, it’s not about that either.

I tell you what I rode by it a couple of times last year. 2 or 3 guys with a couple of blankets worth of stuff. Didn't even bother stopping. There was a 2ft dip between the road surface and the driveway.
Maybe it'll take off this year.
