I think I'm going to be able to make it from Oklahoma City. Not sure I can get a room; however, I'll check around. Any T-shirts left?

Some great riding you're gonna miss Eddy!
Anyone coming up I40 to the rally try to take Hwy 23 from Ozark to Eureka Springs if you can. This is a great ride on a good handling bike. Rode it today, back for hours and still smiling.

Not better but since 7 is on for Saturday 23 is worth riding if you get a chance. Most of the roads in that area are worth riding if you get a chance.

I also rode 12 from 23 into Rogers. Short stretch but also a very good ride. Rode 71 from Fayetteville to Alma but it has gotten kind of rough and riders of HDs tend to poke along holding up traffic.

Call Anne at the riders Rest at (479) 253-9815 to see if there is a room left. The back-up motel she recommended was the Eureka Suites at 1-877-253-9990. I may have a L or XL Rally shirt left.

There's always the Basin Park Hotel downtown Eureka Springs. Just down the road from Jack's Place and a handful of other bars.

Hey I wouldn't mind going this weekend Eddy. Thing is I would probably get beat up since the shirts won't be ready until the 23d. There is nothing worse then a bunch of angry Triumph guys with no shirts.

Not a sight I want to see, let alone they are talking a pretty chilly cool down for next week. Need these shirts to stay warm

Less than a week to go...

Does anyone who will be attending have the Chevy pipe mods on their bike? I am about to buy a set and wanted to see how they sounded.

Thanks,

I beg to differ with you, Troy. I just looked on the Weather channel web site extended forecast for next Fri-Sun. It said partly cloudy with 20% chance of rain all 4 days. High Fri.58 and the other days 65-66. I also double checked with Yahoo Weather. Same thing. So it's looking pretty good.

I don't even know what the Chevy pipe mods are. Is it the ones that are straight pipes with turnout or down tips like a 55-57 Chevy? I think I saw some pipes like that from JC Whitney.

They are pipes from vendor Chevy605. I don't have those, but I am excited about hearing a bunch of different pipes to compare sound.

Just got back from a meeting Saturday in Harrison, Arkansas ( just up the road from Eureka Springs) it was deffinately leather weather, and the leaves,,,they are a changing...the sumac is already a crimson red......should hit it at just the right time for a "visual utopia of color" for ridding through the Ozarks next weekend ! I slept with mother nature last night and even though she is going through menapause , told me next weekend would be "severe clear" - that means georgous to non-aviation types !

I'm riding, come hades or high water. I've got too much time and energy to do otherwise. (extended forecast for my area is rain for Friday morning. Nuts!, rain gear and soaked boots) (I don't care, I'm riding!)
