So my wife finally signed up to take her MSF class in September... she signed up right after I got back from the hospital after my accident LOL! It'll be nice to have her riding alongside me but she will be on a small crotch rocket, I tried to persuade her to get a cruiser but no go, she is interested in a Ninja 250, she wanted the 600 but I think I convinced her that the 250 was plenty for now.

Good times ahead... I only need to get my bike fixed now

Well now , you won't have to worry about her doing the ubiquitous wheelie with that 250 cc monster .

I took the MSF...she'll get a lot of good information from it. Well worth the money.

You are lucky, I have been trying to get the Mrs to take the course for years. She loves being a passenger, but refuses to learn to do her own piloting.I've thought about just signing her up and saying "You are going woman".But that stopped working years ago

Ha!, in my case she refuses to ride as a passenger with me (and since I crashed last week she might have been onto something) I hope once she takes the course realize that a 600cc crotch rocket is just too much to start with, the 250 will serve her well.

First question: how old is she? Must be in 20's or 30's. I just can't imagine a woman close to my age wanting to ride a crotch rocket. (oh, and I'm not going to reveal my age, and don't ask either) Suffice it to say she sounds like a very adventurous woman. Took the course over 3 years ago, very good course. Worth the money.

She's 36, but I think she wouldn't want to ride anything else regardless of age and yes she is an adventurous gal, one of the most adventurous things we have done was SCUBA diving with sharks, that was really a great experience. She draws the line at skydiving which I have done or bungee jumping which neither one of us will do, EVER!

I see what you mean. Riding a cruiser would be boring to her after a while. I'm with you on the bungee jumping thing. Why anyone would want to jump off of a bridge is beyond me. Same question toward the skydiving too. Perfectly good plane, why jump out????
