If you want something even brighter than the KLR650 kit that you make exactly the shape you want, have a look at
this. You'll need to be a bit handy with a soldering iron, and you can tell people you made it yourself. It doesn't flash (yet, I'm looking into that) but there's no reason you can't use an aftermarket modulator with it.
