Ive been tossing around a couple ideas in my head cause the wife doesnt wanna ride unless i got something for her back there. What i might do is mount a backrest pad to the pillon sorta like the drivers backrest in the tech vault, only for the pillon. My wife just needs a little something to keep her from sliding off and shes only 85lbs so im not worried about bolting anything to the fender struts.
But I was also thinking that if you had those ez brackets you could have the metal pieces that fit over the struts with a larger hole to fit over the bigger part and then a smaller channel so you put the sides on and slide it backward to lock it into the grooves.
Heres a quick sketch, it'd still need something to lock the brackets into the grooves, and it needs a way to fit around the total width of the ez bracket and then be able to squeeze inward to fit in the grooves
