This past weekend riding in the mountains in TN And NC I'll have to admit all of the "squid" types were well geared up, many in full armored leathers and only about half of the cruiser crowd was even half serious about gear. The only flip-flops and sandals I saw were on pillion riders on HDs.




Yep have to agree here, most every time I see a herd of harleys none of them have helmets on. It's usually the the guy riding alone or small groups that will be wearing gear.

But then we are talking 2 differnt breeds of sheep here.
It is like totally uncool to wear a helmet on a harley.

And a bike matching helmet is part of the sportbike uniform.
