When I was a young lad my first bike was a honda CB550 very slow compared to todays rice rockets, but at the time it was fast. It begged me to ride and shift all gears at redline, which I gladly did. No accidents but plenty of tickets. When CA DMV sent me a letter stating one more ticket and no more license I had to change my ways. I bought a Bonny 750 and no more tickets. The point of the story is that rice rockets are made to race and when you are young it is IMPOSSIBLE not to use the bike that way.
