Until you can get the right stuff from Eddy why not get some threaded lamp rod from Ace Hardware and slip a couple of off-the-shelf spacers over that? Then you could pass inspection and go riding until the proper gear arrives
I totally missed this post, darn blackberry! I had looked at the big box hardware stores and couldn't find any hollow bolts. I just called the local Ace Hardware and they told me they had lamp rods!! I also googled lamp rods, and found a lamp store that sells all of the different lengths. So maybe if we can't get this part made we can get a lamp rod and then the spacer for a cleaner look. Hopefully though we will be able to get this part duplicated since the current fix looks like garbage IMO, but hey, it works.
