Ok guys, here is the actual "spacer."
I was thinking it was a spacer like the ones pictured in the above links. Alas it isn't. It is like a spacer with hollow bolts on either side, but it is all one piece. Where in the heck can I get something like this?!?!?!? The hollow bolts on J&P are only 1 1/2", which isn't long enough.
I am going to contact the guy who sold us the bike to see if he can at least tell me where his BIL had the custom work done. If I could find this part then I think this will be a pretty easy fix, but if not then I have to at least find a hollow bolt that is 3" long since the "spacer" is 1" and the one side of the hollow bolt is 1 1/2".
Also, you can see on the broken turn signal, that there is no "neck." Of course the new one came with a neck, but am I right in thinking that we will be able to screw the neck off? It doesn't look like one whole piece.
Eddy - If I figure out that we need to go with spacers I will get them from you. I can't wait to get the mirrors in the mail!!
