Okay, I may whine about it later, but what a great weekend to be on the road! Best yet, I have one more day to do irreparable damage (with 50 spf sunscreen) to my skin! Whoo hoo!! Ouch!! 
I would be unstoppable if not for law enforcement and physics.

Great riding weather here also the last 2 days. Got out yesterday morn for a couple hours. Then again this afternoon. Not a whole lot of cages out either. I think the gas prices may be keeping some of the SUV's docked  anthow glad you got yer fix.

Beautiful here all weekend,bikes everywhere,but no riding for me cause i,m on call. on the bright side i did bank 2.5 days and the forcast is for great weather for the next week or so .

I've got a good headstart on my "reverse racoon" look as well...
Now they're calling for rain and possible thunderstorms for Memorial Day into Tuesday.

Me and Kimmy got up yesterday (Memorial Day), and the neighbor offered to take the kids for the day (WHAT???) I was like..ummmm...****** YEAH. So Kimmy is upstairs watching Judge Judy, or something, and Im like...WTF...Kids gone, and your watching TV? Get into your swimsuit, we are going to the lake, regardless of the multi-millions already there. We loaded up Dewey, our 150 pound Lab, (actually he had been in the van waiting for us for over an hour, relax, door was open)...Kimmy was like..It's too crowded, I told her I knew of a "secluded cove", and lets go..Loaded the beer, arrived at cove..Perfect, got on air mattress' and floated / cooked for awhile. Other neighbors showed up with more beer, and their Alaskan Huskie, before we knew it, both dogs floating on air mattress' with us..Dewey lying across Kimmys lap, absolutely pitiful...We had a great time, and now sport a bright pink hue across my belly and legs...gonna itch later...Back to reality...

So where did you find a secluded cove on an Atlanta metro area lake? I'm assuming it wasn't Lake (or is it a mud puddle) Alatoona...

Actually Lake Allatoona is at, or near full pool....clean too....It's a little cove just to the right of Bethany Bridge at Red Top mountain state park...It's about a 1/4 mile trail you have to take, something alot of people simply won't do...Too much cheap mexican beer (Caguama) and sunshine, I was worn out and hung over with a splitting headache, crashed early.

Who woulda thunk it? When I moved from the area about 8 years ago there was hardly any room left to get a boat on that lake, and it definitely wasn't clean. Last I heard it was about dried up due to the drought and everybody in the north Atlanta area drinking it. How did it fill back up? Are y'all still under water restrictions? Here at the Georgia- South Carolina line on lake Hartwell the water levels are still at a 20 year low.
