My Speedmaster came stock with a 110/80-18 Metzler.I just recently installed a Avon 110/90-18 AM26Roadrider.I got it from www.americanmototire.com . I have had it on there for 2000 miles and have been very pleased. The catch is it does bearly clear the front fender.I went ahead and raised the front fender.I took the fender and bracket under off and slotted the holes. This allowed me to move the fender up for some additional clearence for possible tyre exspansion at high speed.I like the looks.YES it does make you speedo read a tad slower(caution)! Also I was concerned the bike would steer slower, steers great to me.Made the bike even more stable.Raised the bike up in the front so you have a little more cornering clearence.I am happy I went with the taller tire and it looks fatter, matches the rear tire better to me and as I mentioned it handles better also.I still can drag around a corner,so yes I do like to push it through the turns a bit.

I'm running a 130/70-18 Metzler Marathon XXL.
About 5k miles on it so far. Handles great, looks good, no clearence problems.
