So I'm cruising down I-64 in my truck and heading home after supporting my local Triumph dealer in the form of a purchased can of chain lube when up ahead I see a trike. Something's different about it; the rear wheels are actually smaller than normal wheels on a motorcycle. This peaks my interest and I speed up for a better look. As I get closer I realize it's not a trike due to now I can see the motorcycle's rear wheel. I'm also noticing a trailer hitch between these secondary wheels. So now I'm thinking it's a bike towing a small trailer.
I get up on the right side of him to pass by (my exit is coming quick), and there's no trailer at all. I didn't get a great look, but it really seemed to look like a set of training wheels (on steroids) for a motorcycle. The two wheels looked like one complete assembly and moved independent of the bike when hitting bumps. It may have been a trailer just big enough for a cooler or something. But this was one weird piece.
Anyone heard or seen something like this?
