Personally I would try to squeeze every last penny out of the dealer on the '05. He's had that bike for three model years, I'm sure he would love to move it out.
see if he will throw in three oil changes, some chrome goodies and a nice Triumph jacket, maybe a helmet. Yea I know that sounds like a lot but keep in mind we are 4 months from the '09 model release.
What the heck all he can say is no.
