There was a guy, back in the day in Columbus, Ohio that supposedly had it all figured out. This guy was either a kook, a genius, or both. He had MANY patents in his name about hydrogen separation, hydrogen as a fuel, etc. Google him (Stanley Meyer)and you'll find lots of cool stuff, lots of conspiracy theory, etc.

Here's a local news cast from back in the day: link

He supposedly had OPEC, the US Gov't, etc very interested. He would not sell his major patent or tell how he seperated the water though for fear of how it would be used (or because it was bunk, take your pick).

So it gets interesting... He finally came to terms with someone on this and went with his brother to a local eatery to meet some men that he was going to sell this to. He takes a drink, immediately says to his brother "they've poisoned me", runs out of the restaurant and dies. Autoposy results are "inconclusive" and his dinner guests disappear into thin air.

Very interesting story. I work with someone who met him a few times and states he was definitely different and you could tell the guy was a very intelligent man. Supposedly the dune buggy in this video is still in the central Ohio area in someone's basement. The local paper just did a story on it within the last year and the reporter got to see it, but would not tell where. I'm not a conspiracy nut because most of the conspiracy theories you hear sound like dorks that just want something to believe in, but this one has always interested me. There are a lot of people in the area that knew this guy and vouched for him. His mysterious death adds to the lore.
