Bill Gately at Bonneville Performance is likely to be the best source of information for you once you get above the standard 904 kit.

I think the 1200 is the biggest but I could be wrong, That one requires bottom end work since it is a BB stroker kit. I think I was at the Wiseco site when I was looking and I think there was one larger than the 904 that wasn't a stroker, could have been a Thunderbike or other kit too though.

One of our members (Wasntme) did a hidden turbo mod. 96HP! Do a search with the term "BA Chopper". You can't even see the turbo. It's probably what you would call fast.

you can do a 904, 989, 1100, 0r 1200. the 904 and 1100 are stock stroke but the 1100 needs top case boring. a ,lot of work, not cheap, but the bike will be a monster. the 904 works very good and has proven to be very reliable. as good as stock. all depends on how much u got and what your willing to spend

Here is some choices. I am interesting about that 994 Billet Big Bore Kit. Has anyone experiences about that? What changes had to do? (to stock engine) http://www.triumphperformanceusa.com/?main_page=index&cPath=10

How sweet this site looks. I'm drooling already This one looks really NICE (as Borat says) and considering my Sheila is an 865cc beauty, this seems more appropriate than an 904cc project, but I'm sure others can enlightem me more on that one. Anyway, I know I probably wouldn't do anything like this or a rebore or similar until my baby needed major work due to age, but I do like to learn and dream about major engine work and really appreciate when others describe their projects from go to whoa and also the end result, preferably with a scanned dyno printout. Anyway, without going , can someone tell me how long they think our motors will last before rings and other major work is necessary cos I haven't got a clue. , and like Petteri, I too would like it if some of our more experienced mechanical gurus could tell us what needs to be done. Not a big deal but it'd be appreciated

I have heard of quite a few over 100,000 and still going, but no one I know personally to verify that. I don't like the idea of aluminum cyl even if they are T-6 (used to use T-6 building liquid oxygen trailers in our barn, and it is very tough stuff) All that ever comes to mind are the Chevy Vega aluminum blocks that were crap. Aluminum cyl are fine if sleeved , better even maybe since the aluminum disipates heat very well.
