I have an '02, does that have a 17 tooth sprocket stock? I want a little more highway range, so would I go with an 18 tooth? I wanted to wait until I got my big bore done before I swap so I dont lose any power on take-off, and thats getting installed next Thursday(finally!!). Does it really make that big of a difference, and will my rpms be lower by more than one or two hundred? I'm getting everything ready for my trip to Sturgis, want to get max range and good two up power.
Yep, it makes the difference and it lowers the rpm by 400 ~ 500.
