Its so funny on these motorcicle forums.....be it this one or any other where the gear vs lack of gear issue comes up....people will not hesitate to make light of or insult the other.
Yet of course when we go on group rides not a one of us would have the nuts to say some of the things that are said in these forums.
I have never had anyone come up and lecture me at a PGR ride due to a lack of a helmet or armored jacket et al..
Likewise on the few RAT rides I have been on not a one has ever accosted me about my lack of a helmet. Likwise I dont make fun of the full helmet armored vest iron man lookalike crowd either.
If someone on a RAT ride did insult me for that reason it would be the last time.
It seems we all have more class in person than we do on the internet no?
