Bet cha forgot that a VERY HIGH percentage of M/C related accidents happen to riders within the first 6 months of their ownership, often even if they HAVE taken the safety course, didn't cha Ian???

yep, as some of you know, it happened to me a couple of weeks ago and I was almost out of the 6 months 
Thanks to my gear I came out with only a pretty badly bruised lt shoulder and a scratched wrist. My helmet had plenty of scratches in the front going from the chin all the way up, the cow hide of my jacket was pretty messed up and my right hand glove had a gash on it... my had didn't have a scratch, the glove took all of it.
I'm a noob, I went to the MSF course, became a statistic but I'm healthy enough to ride another day... thanks to the training and the gear.
