I'm about to order the freak airbox removal kit and install it on my BA, I was thinking about going ahead and ordering the Dynojet while I've got it torn apart. I also just bought new exhaust. I don't know alot about what I'm doing, and I'm kind of learning as I go, I guess what I'm wondering is, is it ok doing all this or should I just call it good with the freak and exhaust?

I live at 7200 feet. Today I took the Speedie out for a spin up the mountain, close to 9000 feet. I'm running freak and staintunes. I'm running 155s and it feels a little wet. It just doesn't "pop" when I hit the throttle. Plus I noticed some soot building up on the outlets of my pipes. I had tried 150s, but they seemed just a little lean. The plugs were a little too light for my liking. I figure I need to be somewhere in between.

So, just for grins, I dig out Pat's Jetting Calculator. Sure enough. It shows 'xacly 152.5 for my setup. Moral of the story - use Pat's Jetting Calculator . You'll be glad you did.

The DJ Jet Kits are not compatible with the Freak. The jets in the DJ Kit are far too lean for yor potential setup. When you order the Freak, let us know what pipes you have (or will be using) and we'll include proper jets for your setup.
