To ignore or ridicule newbies would be a death-knell for this site.... moderators are another story however..
I have one caveat for newbies though, don't take any 1 post or recommendation you read on here as gospel. Again, what works for one may not suit what you're trying to accomplish. Do your research and ask if you're still not sure.
What works for a 150 lb guy in Florida riding solo may not be best for a 400 lb couple riding 2 up in Alaska....
