So there always plenty of interest in mirrors and I know there are a ton of threads out there right now...two currrent. Lots of options listed so why not start a thread so you can post a pic and write a review for the mirrors you have on your bike.

I got these on about a week ago. Been riding with them and I will say they look great. CONSTRUCTION: They seem to be made well and the chrome is very nice. They are obviously longer so they give you more view of whats around you and to your sides. INSTALLATION: Since they are Triumph mirrors the fit is exceptional and they came with new tolerance rings (those flat strips metal that get crushed when you tightent the mirrors) as well as an alignment tool for the screws (plastic thingy that lets you get them on and in place without overtightening). PERFORMANCE: They are longer so the horizontal view is much better. It took a few miles to get used to not seeing as much vertically. I also realized yesterday that at higher speeds (70s and higher) they vibrate so everything in them becomes blurry. This, I beleive to be caused by their length and the wind hitting them at speed. OVERALL: Im happy with them. They look like I want and the view is better than stock. I would recommend them with caution regardign the vibration at speed. PICTURES:

I've got the other Triumph style mirror-pointed on the end. No more blind spot but as noted it took a day or so the get used to the wider but less vertical view. Mine also vibrited just a bit at speed but after a day I snuged them up just a touch more and it's all good. I like 'em.

CONSTRUCTION: I can vouch for the durability of these things as mine fell off I was riding (my fault for not tightening the bolt enough). One minute it was there, the next, gone. Retraced my steps and saw it in the middle of the road...flattened. Obviously, something had gone over it, but, surprisingly, the glass was OK. I got it home, put a new bolt in it and refitted (with Loctite). It's a bit scarred but I think it adds character.  INSTALLATION: Was a pain.  The biggest problem I had was drilling the bar-weights out as the material used is really tough. This problem would exist with any bar-end mirrors. Other than that, no problems. PERFORMANCE: Poor. They're 60mm across-what do you expect? That said, I only use them whilst stationary, to keep a eye out for anything that's bearing down on me from behind. For that, they're great. OVERALL: Setting them up is a pain as it takes 2 allen keys and you can't do it whilst moving. You can see very little out of them but, for my purposes, they're ideal. Look great, feel great, excellent quality. If you're the kind of person who needs to see as much behind as in front, look elsewhere (maybe at the bigger Oberons). If, like me, you only use mirrors to do your lippy in, with the occasional rearward glance, they're great. http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/motorcycle-mirrors.htmlI have the streetfighter version. Indicators (as seen in pics) are also Oberon. I bought them directly from Oberon and they were great to deal with.

The Yamaha V-Max Mirrors (or Emgo equivalant) mount right onto the stock mirror stems. The field of view is awesome and since they use the stock stems they are steady as a rock.   Soren

Fast Eddy has some great mirrors similar to these that never have a vibration.

I can also vouch for V-max mirrors, although I didn't get them from fast-eddy. I originally put them on my T100 but kept them when I part-exed it for my BA. Great field of view, no vibration and inexpensive. I think they look good too.

Kuryakyn Magnum's. $40 for the pair from a swap meet. I just bolted them on, no adaptors and they haven't budged. Good field of vision, I can see both lanes in the background which is slightly wider than the OEM lollipops. I like the look, they are not over the top. Couldn't beat the price.

How are those Magnums mounted, ss? Do they use the standard holes of do you have to drill? Also how's the vibration?

I had the Magnums on my HD for years and really liked them. Just added a set to my Speedmaster. For me, no problem adapting to the wider field of view. On the Speedmaster, there is a bit of blur at 4500, but I feel this vibration through the whole bike, so don't feel the mirrors are just vibrating on their own. They lock down real snug with a lock washer. Used Brent's adapters with the proper length bolt that came with the mirrors. No cutting or drilling required. They are lower than the stock mirrors, so you do have to adjust to looking down a bit more than usual. Chrome plating is great. Make sure you get the Magnum Plus as they have the longer stems.

I've got to say, although I like my V-max mirrors, those magnums look really superb.  And they give a choice of flat or convex glass. I'd go for the convex.

I have Fast Eddy's Emgo mirros on my America and Oberon Streetfighters on my Bonnie (semi-cafe) and I like them both very much. The Emgos fit the original stems perfectly and give a great field of view; the Oberons are "dental" mirrors but are actually a lot more useful than you might think. I did use open end bars for the Oberons and it made installation easy; they are, however, the devil to get situated properly without a helper.

They mount from the bottom with an allen-head bolt. The bolt is a good bit smaller than the original mirror mount. I just put on a little Blue Locktite, cinched it down and they have never moved. Vibration is practically nill, about the same as the OEM mirrors, just with a wider view.
Only complaint has been from the wife, with the OEM mirrors, she could see behind us using the mirror, now she can't. I can live with that..

I use a set of Suzuki c50 mirrors that a friend gave me for free. They look similar to the emgo ones. I reused the stock mirrors' arm and just screwed the new mirrors on. They work AWESOME.

I just installed the Triumph Tear Drop Drilled stem mirrors. I like the look. However, the do have a vibration problem which I didn't have with the stock mickey mouse mirrors. Does anyone know of a way to dampen the vibration?

I have the Arlen Ness oval mirrors, they had almost no vibration until I changed my pipes to Specialty Spares, now they vibrate at specific rpm's range... don't have a tacho yet so I can't really tell the range. May have to change them... eventually.
