I've been reading BikerThug's Weisco thread with a mixture of admiration, envy and horror: admiration for his courage in doing the mod himself; envy at the satisfaction he'll have when it all comes out right, and realizing I will never have that feeling; and horror at the idea that anyone would willingly and knowingly dissect their baby in such a manner, regardless of their good intentions.
And yet...904cc for my TBA seems like such a good idea that I have to ask:
1. Where do the real gains come in, horsepower, torque or both? low-, mid- or high-rpm range?
2. If I were to pay to have the work done, what's a reasonable labor cost?
3. Does anyone offer the kits at a discounted price?
4. Does installation invalidate the warranty?
