Let me explain it this way. Below is a picture of our Clearing Press we use at work.
It's a 60 ton press (meaning the force it can exert), and it stamps out about 20,000 brackets a day (our product). We have as much right as anybody to call this press "our baby" (just as you called your TBA "your baby"). This Clearing Press is our "goose that lays the Golden Egg." Yet, last year, we tore that press all the way down and gave it a complete overhaul. Now it runs better than ever. So, although we tend to personalize machinery by calling them "our baby," - we really should remember that these things are just mechanical devices.
So, since it's a long winter ahead (here in the "Great Northwest), you can bet your bottom dollar "my baby" will be ready for Spring (Lord willing, of course).
